Do you think all vitamin supplements are the same? You’ll be surprise to see that there are harmful vitamins, including minerals, which you might be taking right at this moment. I will share with you what is the best type of vitamin supplements to take and to avoid hurting yourself any further. You will be informed about the dirty secrets companies don’t want you to know about as they mass-produced vitamins while ignoring the dangers.
Not all vitamin supplements are the same
When you buy your vitamin supplements in the store or online, you might think that you are getting good healthy supplements for your health. This is a big NO. You see, unless specified, the vitamin supplements you buy, are not beneficial to your health. Most of them were all created in a lab. They are synthetic based. The minerals are also not beneficial to the human body.
When you have vitamin supplements created in a lab as synthetic based, they will be a danger to your health. When you body gets a dose of synthetic vitamin supplements, it tries to absorb them in the most efficient way possible. If your body can’t get it from natural foods, it will have to substitute for the synthetic ones. This can be dangerous. The synthetic vitamins are not wholesome, and are missing the necessary components to work synergistically in bio-available form. They synthetic form are concentrated. Taken high amounts of synthetic vitamin supplements can do liver damages and overall toxicity.
For the minerals, if they are from rocks they can do more damage. Take for example the mineral calcium. If it’s from any other sources besides plants and animals, it will not benefit the body. Calcium deposits from ground-up bones, rocks, or chalks, can clogged veins and arteries.
The best form of vitamins, including minerals
Your body would prefer to have vitamins from plant food sources and meat. The plants do the hard work by processing the minerals to be bio-available for us to be consumed, which will benefit the body in the most optimal way possible. When you eat the leafy veggies, fruits of plants and meat of animals, which contain whole vitamins and minerals, you will get the best form available.
You might wonder why I mentioned vitamin and calcium from animals. You can get a lot of vitamin B12 from animals and good amount of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus from bone broth. But you have to be careful of animals that have been fed with foods containing heavy metals like lead which can be toxic when consuming bone broth. Get bones that are from grass fed animals or wild organic to make your broth. Besides bone broth, if the calcium was not extracted from plants, it is best to stay away from it.
Dirty secrets of most vitamin companies
Most vitamin companies who mass-produced vitamins and minerals are selling you dangerous supplements. They would cut corners to produce these supplements for fast profits. They would entice you with words about their products, claiming that their products are the best. If you ever see that your vitamins and minerals are very white, that is a vitamin/mineral made in a lab. You would want to stay clear from it. Some companies would add coloring to their vitamins to make it look natural.
Have you ever compare the vitamins level made in a lab to vitamins extracted directly from plants? You might want to do that when you can. The vitamins which are created in a lab are at a higher level. They need to be at a higher level to trick the body that it is receiving the actual thing. The body has no choice but to take the substituted synthetic vitamins. Not only that the vitamins/minerals are at a higher levels, consuming them at that concentrated form without their missing synergistic forms for proper absorption, is where the danger lies.
Most synthetic vitamins are added to foods like fortified cereals and other morning breakfast foods, include foods that state that they were fortified. The companies that produced synthetic vitamins/minerals signed big contracts to dump their useless supplements into fortified foods.
Companies to trust
You would want to buy your vitamins/minerals supplements from companies you trust. I’m not going to specify by brand names, but by how to know which ones to trust. When looking to buy vitamins/minerals supplement, you would want to buy from smaller certified organic companies. The reason for this is that these smaller certified organic companies have a reputation to build so that they can stay in business. They should be third party tested and have the certified organic seals on their supplement containers. Saying that their products are “naturally” made is not going to prove anything. Any dishonest company can say that just to get a buck from you.
The vitamins/minerals supplements from the smaller companies that sell certified organic made, don’t really have to have higher levels extracted and made to be consumed. This is because the vitamins/minerals are in their wholesome form, which will be bio-available and will work synergistically with your body. Our bodies don’t really need that high amounts to function. The foods that we eat may not have all the necessary vitamins/minerals we need on a daily basis. This is due to the soil being poor or overuse.
Eating the right kinds of foods will give you all the necessary vitamins/minerals you need. Organically grown, will always have the best benefits. These sources of foods from certified organically grown farms, should be properly soiled for their types. Therefore, a vitamin/minerals supplements will not be necessary.
If you are interested in certified organic multi-vitamin and which I take, check out https://www.thesynergycompany.com/. I am don’t get any affiliate compensation from them. I’m just informing.
Conclusions:
I, myself, is taking certified organic vitamins/minerals. I find that the foods I eat which are mostly organic, are hard to find on certain times of the year. Supplementing with organic certified vitamins/minerals, will help replenish the proper amount need for the body to use on a daily basis. With all the information given here, you would want to use them for screening out companies who claim that their supplements are “naturally made”, but are not quite so. People need to be aware of what they consumed as vitamins/minerals supplements.
The general population are not aware of where they get their vitamins from. They innocently take the supplements and think that they will benefit from them, when it can actually do them harm. If you are eating organic certified foods, you might want to skip taking vitamins/minerals. You really don’t need it. Now that you know, please take the necessary steps to take care of yourself for the better. It is better to be informed about your health than not. I wish everyone the best of health.
Cheers to a healthy you,

Thank you so much for sharing with us a wonderful and informative article. The main theme of this article is vitamin supplements. It is truly incredible that you have illustrated this topic so well in your article. I have learned a lot by reading your article and gained a lot of knowledge about the effect of vitamin supplements. Of the points mentioned in your article, I like the secrets of vitamin companies. I totally agree with you that not every vitamin supplement is one. Those whose company makes vitamin supplements and market them without determining their true value and those who take vitamin supplements may suffer greatly.
Considering these aspects, we do not take vitamin supplements but naturally eat green vegetables, fruits, and meat which meet our vitamin needs.
Finally, I enjoyed reading your article and so I’d like to share your article in my Facebook group if you are happy with me.
Hello Md. Asraful Islam,
Thank you for commenting on my post. It is truly an honor to see that you find this article interesting. I’m am pleased that you’ve gotten something out of it. People need to realize that what they thought as being good to them, can really hurt them. It was my intention to help them learn the difference between synthetic vitamins/minerals and actual organic certified plant based vitamins/minerals. I am also happy that you don’t have to take vitamins/minerals supplements, because you get them directly from foods. Unfortunately, we live in different areas of the states or world, and the access to real foods are limited. Take care.
P.s- Yes, you may share my article if you’d like. Thanks.
Who would have thought that something like this actually happens. I take supplements regularly but I have never assumed that I might be consuming something dangerous for my health. Most of us don’t have ways to test or know how to extract the vitamins from these supplements and test if they are the real deal. We just take the word of the companies producing these things without actually questioning them. If there is a way to manually test if these supplements are legit I would really like to know. Thanks for such an informative post.
Hello Manuel,
The vitamin/mineral supplements you take meets the FDA standards to be consumed. It doesn’t meant that the supplements are approved for whether they are from plants or not. As long as they contain the vitamin/mineral, it doesn’t matter what sources they were from. You can take a plant based Vitamin C of 150mg which have the other necessary components to make them bio-available for the body with benefits and you can take 1000mg of synthetic lab vitamin C which are missing the necessary components to make it bio-available. The difference is the plant based 150mg vitamin C is all you will need, while it might take 1000mg or 2000mg or more to give a fraction of the benefits with possible dangers. Thank you for commenting. Stay safe, stay strong.
