It’s no surprise that home gyms are becoming more and more popular. Due to the current situation of Covid 19, gym facilities all across the US have been closed or have been limited for use by their paid members. People who have no where to go to stay in shape are improvising their exercise strategies at home. Those who have already owned a multi-functional power rack or a multi-functional weight bench have the advantage to stay in shape. But there are advantages and disadvantages of owning a multi-functional power rack or a multi-functional weight bench.
Trying to stay in shape during Covid 19
Going to gym facilities to exercise and stay in shape are on a pause due to Covid 19 for most loyal members who rely on them. That means that people are not exercising like they would want to. Some gym goers may have given up and just don’t care anymore. Some try to improvise their exercise techniques to stay in shape. And some simply can’t do exercise to stay in shape depending on where they are in the country. Some may have an apartment and some may have a house. The ones who have an apartment are most likely to have limited space to do their exercise and are limited to weight equipment due to rules and regulations by their landlords. The advantage comes to those who might have a house with enough space to set up a multi-functional power rack or a mutli-functional weight bench.

The M.F. power rack is one of the most versatile weight lifting station ever created. I am a proud owner of such workout station. It is best suited for houses. I have this workout station set up in my garage. It has many features on it. It’s like going to the gym facilities but much more on a private setting. Just to list the basic main exercises, I can do squats, cables exercises, dips, leg lifts, rows, shoulders, chest, arms, chin-ups, pull-ups exercises, etc. There’s never been a day that I feel that I need to go to a gym facility to do my workouts. Everything that I can do in a gym facility, can be done on my multi-functional power rack without waiting in line to get my next sets of exercise completed.
The M. F weight bench is also a strong little workout station that can do some of the basic exercises mentioned above. You can have this station set up in an apartment or a house. When I used to live in an apartment in NYC, I had a multi-functional weight bench. It did the job on basic muscle groups. Being young at the time, I had developed one of the best physiques around the neighborhood. That was all done without stepping into a gym facility. The problem with such station is that you are limited to certain exercises. Also, you’d be lucky to have a good landlord to even let you have a workout station in your apartment. The noise alone can trigger your neighbors to report you to the landlord which can cause problems.

Disadvantages of owning a multi-functional power rack
1) It is takes up quite some space. 2) It is heavy. 3) It can cost too much. 4) Not suitable for an apartment.
Disadvantages of owning a multi-functional weight bench
1) Your exercises are limited to that of a multi-functional power rack or a gym facility. 2) If you have an apartment, the time you choose to exercise will be limited. 3) Most likely you’ll need an assistant/spotter when doing max weigh rep due to not having safety bars.
My thoughts on home gym stations
Home gym stations like the multi-functional power rack and the multi-functional weight bench can have lots of advantages on a personal level as mentioned above. Owning either one of these workout stations can save you time and money over many years to come. The world could be on a lock down as we are experiencing with Covid19 and if you own one of these mutli-functional workout stations, you will be able to stay in shape no matter what. You’ll look good, be able to relieve stress, and anxiety.
I am so happy to have a multi-functional power rack set up in my garage. I am able to do as many different exercises I can possibly think of. I don’t have to get dressed to travel out of my home to go work out. I don’t need to be distracted by people who just linger around the gym facility just to talk instead of working out. I’d rather concentrate on what I’m doing at the moment. I feel that if you paid for something, you should take as much advantage as you can.
If you live in an apartment and you have a little space to spare, you might want to consider getting a multi-functional weight bench if your landlord permitted. This workout station will do the job to get you in shape. Just remember to have an assistant if you’re doing max weight reps for safety reasons.
If you do own a house and if you’re interested in staying in shape, but can got to a gym facility or can’t find one, you might want to invest in a multi-functional power rack. Given the advantages listed above, you see the benefits of owning this powerful workout station. It has everything you need to get your exercises done. I had the multi-functional weight bench in the past and now I have the multi-functional power rack. If I were to recommend one, I’d definitely go with the multi-functional power rack. It’s the best workout machine for anyone to have when comes to doing variations of exercises and having safety features at the same time.

Hi John, I agree with you that keeping in shape is more challenging at the moment with gyms closed. We bought an exercise bike a couple of months ago and it lives in our garage. We get it out onto our patio when we want to do a session. But while the bike is good for legs and cardio, it’s not really much good for upper body strength, so a multi functional bench or rack is a great idea if you have the space.
You’re right. These two exercise workout stations can even you out when comes to body proportion. A garage is perfect for these workout stations should you later choose to buy one. AS always, stay healthy, stay strong, stay safe.
I like the multiple functional power rack because of it unique nature that comprises a lot of features in one single machine, It has many features on it. It’s like going to the gym facilities but much more on a private setting. Some of it basic exercises are : squats, cables exercises, dips, leg lifts, rows, shoulders, chest, arms, chin-ups, pull-ups exercises, etc. Hence, the choice is definitely M.F. Power rack. At least with this I will not stay without exercise again.
Those that are on rentage may not be able to consider the multi functional weight bench because of it unavoidable disadvantages that can lead to problem with neighbors and even the landlord.

Thank you for understanding the different exercises a M.F. power rack can do. The exercises you can do on it are crazy insane, especially if it comes with cables. I can come up with over 100 different exercising positions to do on it, so that my muscle never get adjusted to one type of exercise, thus improving growth. As I have explained, these two multi-functional exercise equipments can do the job of keeping you in shape. The difference is that the M.F. power rack can give you the benefits of a gym facility. But since you have limited space to have a M.F. power rack, you can still benefit from the M.F. weight bench with less choice of exercises. You may not be able to do squat exercises, but you definitely can do leg curls and leg extensions. For the upper body you can gain some serious muscle size, but that can make you look disproportional. If you’re only training to stay toned, then it’ll be a good choice. Just remember, that the M.F. weight bench doesn’t have safety bars to protect you when going heavy on the chest. So please have someone to assist you for that.
